MAKAN Translate privacy

MAKAN Translate is free. There is no account and there are no ads. Your text goes only to the engine you choose.

With an online engine or an AI service, your text is sent to that service, under its own terms. With an offline model, the text is processed inside the app. MAKAN LAB does not choose the engine for you.

If you use your own key (Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, OpenRouter or Mistral), the key stays on your device.

These three ways to use MAKAN Translate follow the same rules above. A more detailed description of what each one stores and sends will be added here when the app is released.
