The problem
Wanted a trivia game that stays playable with no internet — most quiz apps just break or show an error when the connection drops.
The approach
Built on the free Open Trivia Database for live questions across real categories, with an automatic offline fallback question bank so the game keeps working with zero signal — the same offline set ships inside the Android build. Five difficulty tiers (Rookie through Legendary) each carry their own timer and scoring multiplier, plus a persistent local leaderboard.
The result
A quiz that never shows a dead end — online or off, there's always a question ready.
