The problem
Most browser blackjack demos feel like spreadsheets — correct rules, zero atmosphere, nothing that makes you want to stay at the table.
The approach
Built a full ruleset (insurance, splits, surrender) on top of a hand-illustrated pirate theme, added a pirate-rank progression system tied to your win streak, and layered in ambient audio so the table feels alive.
The result
A complete, atmospheric blackjack table that people actually finish rounds in instead of bouncing after one hand.
